FAQ

InfoPoint

The InfoPoint is located in the gazebo in Kuźniczki Park. The self-service InfoPoint is open between 6 p.m. and midnight – this is where you can pick up your NARRACJE flyer or a leaflet of our family-oriented tours.

Guided tours

Because of the pandemic, there will be no guided tours of the festival’s route – visitors are encouraged to individually discover the installations.
There will be a daily curatorial walkthrough (on Saturday conducted in English). The number of participants is limited and registration applies (registration has reached its capacity).

Activities for children

We have prepared an alternative educational route for children – you can follow it individually (pick up a leaflet with a map from our InfoPoint) or take part in a guided walk (the walk and a leaflet are available in Polish only). Attending the guided walk is free of charge, but subject to prior registration (registration has reached its capacity).

Festival Club

The Club will be located in the commercial space on 169 Hallera Avenue, the so-called “Square”, and its programme was created in collaboration with the artists who reside there on a daily basis.
Herbal infusions will be offered by the ephemeral Magic Garden Tea House, Lang.fuhr and Café Absinthe will take care of the bar, and you can hit any of the food trucks parked nearby for food.
The music programme will begin at 8 p.m. in the atrium of the “Square” (see the programme for details).

Food area

You will find food trucks on Wybickiego Square and near the commercial space at 169 Hallera Avenue (the so-called “Square”). Apart from that, there are various restaurants, bars and cafés on Wajdeloty Street that are open until late.

Public transport

The festival route begins in Kuźniczki Park. The easiest way to get there is by an SKM train (“Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz” station) or various trams and buses that stop at “Klonowa” or “Wrzeszcz PKP”. The route ends near the “Kościuszki” stop (Hallera Avenue), where you can catch the N1 night bus, among others.

Safety

The pandemic is still here, so remember to keep a safe distance and follow the rules of hygiene. Only the following works will be presented in closed spaces: Barbora Kleinhamplová’s performance (no. 6), Kateřina Konvalinová’s film and installation (16) and Maria Ciapalska’s exhibition (17). For these works, there will be a limit on the number of visitors allowed into the presentation venue at any one time. We kindly remind you to cover your mouth and nose in closed spaces. The remaining works will be shown in an urban setting.

Performative projects

Works by Kateřina Olivová (no. 4), Michalina Bigaj and Magdalena Lazar (5), Barbora Kleinhamplová (6), マリッサ・クーパーの憂鬱 The Melancholy of Marissa Cooper (7) and one element of Cecylia Malik’s project (10) have a performative character, and will not be presented on an ongoing basis. If the specifics of the work allow, the start times of these performances are indicated in the map legend.

All events taking place as part of the festival are free of charge.
Curatorial walkthroughs and educational walks for children are subject to registration.
