NARRACJE Picture Project [DE/PL]

Is a site-specific project focused on the part of Gdańsk referred to as Dolne Miasto (Lower City), investigated and brought back to the audience through the media of photography, music and dance. On display, arranged in the old and almost forgotten tram depot, archive images from both private and public resources, are confronted with contemporary ones.
The exhibition aims to encourage the onlookers to rediscover various parts, views, situations and people of Dolne Miasto or to enable them to discover the district anew, by providing images which they might not know, despite being familiar with the district itself. The spectators are welcome to indulge in the pleasure of recognition of their habitat as well as themselves, their history and tradition, and appreciate this part of the city – Dolne Miasto, with everything it connotes, whether it be light or shadow.
