NARRACJE 2011 Work: Floraindustrie

Floraindustrie is an attempt to break the spell of a post industrial warehouse on Reduta Miś street in the lower city. The artists turned their studio into a greenhouse, which serves to preserve the plants and the memories. These earliest, from the childhood: summers spent in the countryside, grandfather's garden, the warmth and smell of the greenhouse, all these sensual feelings that stayed in a grown man. The concept for planting tomatoes and herbs in the lower city is a hope to bring these feelings back, maybe in a way to go back to the childhood. How the space is arranged contradicts with its previous function - it used to be a plumbing factory, and now it's filled with a variety of colors and smells.
