Using various media ranging from intimate performances to large-format video projections, artists from Poland and abroad are placing well-known districts of Gda\u0144sk in a new context. Each year, the Festival takes place in late autumn, giving a reason to leave the house and explore the city on two November evenings.<\/h2>\n<p>Among the previous curators of NARRACJE were: Bettina Pelz (2009-2011), Steven Matijcio (2012), Rob Garrett (2013), Anna Witkowska i Adam Witkowski (2014), Anna Smolak (2015), Stach Szab\u0142owski (2016), Anna Czaban (2017), Piotr Stasiowski (2018), Sylwia Szymaniak and Sarmen Beglarian (2019), Karina Kottova and Piotr Sikora (2021), Emilia Orzechowska and Bogna \u015awiatkowska (2022), Katarzyna S\u0142oboda and Jakub Gawkowski (2023), Zuzanna Mielczarek and Mateusz W\u0142odarek (2024), Maja Murawska and Karolina Po\u0142om (2025).<\/p>\n<p>Over the years the NARRACJE has taken place in the Lower, Main and Old Town of Gdansk, at the Gdansk Shipyard, on the Long Gardens, in Upper Wrzeszcz, New Port, Biskupia Hill, Brze\u017ano, Oliwa, Sidelce, Lower Wrzeszcz, Przer\u00f3bka, Orunia, Nied\u017awiednik, Anio\u0142ki.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025 the festival takes place in a residential district of \u017babianka-Wejhera-Jelitkowo-Tysi\u0105clecia and is curated by Sarmen Beglarian and Sylwia Szymaniak.<\/p>\n<p>NARRACJE are organised by the Urban Culture Institute in Gda\u0144sk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; NARRACJE Festival has been exploring urban themes and stories since 2009.
